IGT is a company that can date its origins back to 1950’s Nevada. They powered many of the land-based slot games that have made Las Vegas such a popular destination. IGT are considered to be one of the biggest players within this competitive industry. In the 1980’s they became a publically traded company and went on to develop the first video poker games. IGT didn’t venture into the online gaming market until 2005 when they purchased online software provider Wagerworks.
