IGT

IGT is a company that can date its origins back to 1950’s Nevada. They powered many of the land-based slot games that have made Las Vegas such a popular destination. IGT are considered to be one of the biggest players within this competitive industry. In the 1980’s they became a publically traded company and went on to develop the first video poker games. IGT didn’t venture into the online gaming market until 2005 when they purchased online software provider Wagerworks. With this purchase they were able to bring the best of land-based gambling to an online space for the first time.
